Work With Me:
Couple’s Therapy

Couple’s Therapy
Couple’s Therapy for Relationship or Sexual Concerns
If you are looking for couple’s therapy either because of concerns with your sex life or for other issues in the relationship, I am here to help.
Sometimes the problems seem so large and daunting you are not even clear where to start. Sometimes you feel silly because you are unhappy in a relationship and can’t even put your finger on what is exactly bothering you. Sometimes, if there are sexual problems, it’s hard to tell if the sexual problems are causing the other problems, or vice versa. Often one person is more unhappy than the other. In every case though, people feel angry, lonely, frustrated and lost.

Transforming Relationship Patterns Together
I want you to know that I have helped hundreds of couples just like you. Together we unravel some of the patterns and try to gain a deeper understanding of what is creating anger, frustration and rifts. Together we slowly try to change those patterns and ways of interacting.
While couple’s therapy usually (but not always) involves at minimum a few months of work, I don't believe in endless therapy. I believe in setting clear goals and direction for your work with me and I believe in ongoing evaluation as to whether or not you feel you are making progress in those goals.
I believe that any couple with a sincere desire to create an ongoing loving relationship is capable of doing so. And I’d like to work with you to make that happen.
What if my partner doesn’t want to come to therapy?
You may want to set up an appointment by yourself, both to unpack what you are feeling and to discuss strategies that might make it easier for them to join in the project. I am a firm believer that changing the behavior of one partner can have significant impact on the entire relationship. It may not fix everything, but it can make significant inroads.
Additionally, seeing me alone may help you to gain some clarity and confidence and help you feel less angry or hopeless.
Cost:
The cost of each 50-minute session is $400. I am aware that is prohibitive for many people, and if that is the case, I encourage you to continue the search to find someone who works within your budget. However, I do often work with couples every other week, rather than weekly and clients often tell me that meeting with me for 10 sessions has been more practically productive than some of the couple’s therapists they have seen for much longer term.
Let’s have a real conversation:
One that is straightforward, comfortable and most of all helpful.
Whether or not you choose to set up an appointment, you deserve to feel healthy and happy and I want to encourage you to find answers to the issues that are bothering you.
